Our Office Staff

Neil Golsworthy – Managing Director

At the age of 25 I started my own business being a small developer of new house builds; and over the next 12 years I built over 200 properties. A big aspect of that was being involved with the design aspects of them, which I have always had a flair for design and enjoyed that aspect, so when I saw the niche market for adapting properties for people who had limited mobility and disabilities, which involves a lot of design, we started First Class. All designs are relative to the individuals specific requirements and since we have been involved in the industry for over 20 years, and worked with all the major manufactures’ that supply the specific products required, we have built up a vast knowledge base enabling us to advise others with all the technical aspects.

Bill Bowman – Sales Assistant/Technical Sales Director

In my day to day job role I oversee the website and am on hand to give technical sales advice. I have been with First Class for 2 years and within that time have helped lots of customers by assisting and finding solutions for their problems, as well as offering technical help and advice. In my previous employment I have been used to multi-national companies where problems aren’t as straight forward to solve as smaller companies, like First Class, due to this we are able to assist our customers in finding solutions for any challenge they have.

Olivia Whiting – CAD Engineer and IT Manager

My job involves a range of activities, including; creating the CAD designs of customers bathrooms, website marketing liaison, email marketing campaign creator, process time sheets for the workforce, organise office meetings, drive and promote social media content for the company, liaise both with the website team, the install side of the business as well as aiding Neil with his tasks. I am currently undertaking a degree in business where I attend lectures a couple of days a week, and also am able to spend some of my other time networking with women in the construction industry, by attending monthly events through a group called South West Women in Construction. Since being with First Class for 3 years, it is recently that I have seen great plans to expand the company by acquiring new premises and new ventures.

Lisa Screech – Customer Liaison Manager

As an office administrator I am involved with organising the new job schedules with the manager which involves making appointments, sending out quotations, invoices and start date letters, liaising with clients, showing them around the showroom, looking after the councils DFG adaptations as well as liaising with technical advisors. Getting excellent feedback when a client is over the moon with his/her wet room adaptation gives me the most job satisfaction as well as working with a variety of people keeps me entertained. I have been with First Class for 8 years.

Albert Cody – Sales Manager

As the sales manager for First Class, I liaise directly with the customers on the website, provide knowledgeable and speedy service of items ordered as well as keeping the customers up to date, and ensuring that we meet the customers expectations of the products ordered. It is very important for us to maintain a good working relationship with existing and new customers and the advice and help that we can offer facilities this relationship. Over the 3 years I have been with First Class, I been able to build up lots relationships with clients. Clients frequently ask me for the lead time of products, options of products that are available and the costs of those products.

Nichola Golsworthy – Office Manager

As the office manager, my job role includes dealing with accounts, payroll, personnel, vehicle maintenance overview, updating training requirements, holiday leave, answering phone enquiries, stationery orders, speaking to clients in the showroom.
